About Us

The DeMartino family first went into the restaurant business in 1976 with Piccolo Mondo, which became a well-loved eatery known for its incomparable food and fine dining atmosphere. Piccolo Mondo closed in 1993, but Café Tiramisu opened its doors in November of 1996 to pick up where Piccolo Mondo left off.

While Paul is still the chef at Tiramisu, his two sons, Richard and Rodolfo, actually own and operate it. Richard and Rodolfo grew up working at Piccolo Mondo, where they learned all about operating a restaurant. After spending two years finding the perfect location, they opened Café Tiramisu.

At Café Tiramisu, you will find not only some of Paul's signature menu items, such as his Osso Buco and Fried Mozarella Souffle, but new cuisine, including items beyond the Northern Italian classics. The DeMartinos try out new cuisine on a regular basis, so keep checking back for the latest menus.

You don't have to go to Italy to get a taste of the best culinary delights that country has to offer. The Dimartinos brought their family recipes over from the old country to share with scores of delighted diners at Cafe Tiramisu. Whether you choose from classic pasta dishes, indulge in the inventive daily specials or sample the many chicken creations, you'll leave sated and happy.

The menu specializes in Northern Italian cuisine like the osso buco, "saltimbocca" (sauteed veal or chicken in a light lemon butter sauce and topped with prosciutto and provolone); "pollo ripiene," chicken stuffed with green peppers, onions, Italian sausage and mozzarella cheese; and eggplant parmigiana. Reservations are recommended. -- Source>> Grant Britt
